These images represent an almost five year journey taken by founding member Joel Reibert as he was faced with the gradual decline of his grandfather. Through this process, he was able to grieve fully and, at the same time, honor his grandfather's life completely. From all this akme was envisioned as a service for families dealing with the emotional intensity that comes from watching someone they dearly love move toward the winter of their life.
